A Choice Nanny is a boutique referral agency that is kept small by design. Every family and nanny works directly with the agency’s owner, Lisa Menconi, to help ensure all needs are met. A Choice Nanny is not a nanny store, staffing service, or listing site, but a professionally operated nanny search firm. We seek out well-qualified, unique candidates and interview them face-to-face at length. We perform a customized search for every family that we represent because each family comes with different needs.
We bring thoughtful, personal attention to our clients whether they are first time parents in need of hand holding or experienced parents. At every step of the process, we advise and guide, screen to a fault, work discreetly, and facilitate strong relationships.

PARENT SERVICES
A comprehensive, personal consultation is conducted with each parent to determine which nanny candidates would best fit their family's needs. This phone consultation is done with the owner, Lisa Menconi.
All referred nanny candidates have had an in-depth interview (face-to-face), have been reference checked, and have been obtained through our nanny search program. At hire, each referred nanny undergoes a thorough background investigation using a licensed professional. Parents have greater peace of mind knowing that each nanny has gone through some of the most thorough checks in the field. A Choice Nanny is the premier nanny agency in NJ, serving our community since 1983.
Unlike some other agencies, A Choice Nanny provides you with our nanny candidate references, contact information, etc. We encourage you to meet with our nanny candidates before hiring in the comfort of your home so that your family and your children can interview all candidates in person.
NANNY SERVICES
When we spend time during our face-to-face interview, our goal is to understand your needs so that we can introduce you to families with whom you'd be comfortable working. We never connect you with a family without a description of the position in detail, and your permission. Our in-depth, face-to-face interviewing approach means we get to know your preferences and talents before referring you to the many families that we represent. There are no fees for our nannies to pay.
